Previously the Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival, our organisation was founded in 1979 to bring high quality performing arts events created by leading Scottish, UK and international artists and companies to the region for the benefit and enjoyment of local audiences.
From 2016 on, in addition to our annual festival in May, we steadily established a year-round programme of performing arts events in communities large and small throughout Dumfries & Galloway. We also developed a wide range of creativity and technical skills development opportunities for young people in the region, as well as for the many artists, practitioners and venues who live and work here.
