Up Yer Airts (UYA) is a dynamic youth arts organisation dedicated to empowering young people through music, performance, and creative opportunities. Based in Dumfries and Galloway, we provide platforms for young artists, musicians, and creatives to develop their skills, gain industry experience, and make a lasting impact in their communities.
Through projects like Geez A Choon, which supports emerging musicians in songwriting, recording, and live performance, and the DIY Fund, which enables young people to bring their creative ideas to life, UYA ensures that youth-led creativity is at the heart of everything we do. We collaborate with local and national partners to create meaningful opportunities, from mentoring and workshops to large-scale events and festivals.
